 Hollywood’s most prolific Asian star, actor James Hong joins TEXASIA this year.
Known for his roles in ‘Bladerunner’, ‘Art of War’ and ‘Big Trouble in Little China’,

James Hong, recognized for his portrayals in more than 450 roles in film and TV
since 1955, is also a founder of LA’s East West Players in 1965. His advocacy
for Asian American actors in Hollywood is legend.
Given his lifetime of contribution to film and to our Asian American community,
the Festival will present James Hong our first TEXASIA STAR, Saturday, Oct. 20.
With all he has given to the world of film, James Hong has yet to be credited
on Hollywood’s Walk of Stars. We, in Houston, are proud to correct that ‘oversight’
at TEXASIA!
